The last thread in this section was in February so I thought I would post some pics of some of my reptiles.

I love tokay geckos. Are they as bad biters as their reputation says?

With my pair they rater then run then bite. Only when your in their tank and if you get too close then they get a little pissy but if you give the their space they are great display animals.

It hatched and the female laid about 9 eggs after that one and 2 more have hatched! So I currently have 3 baby tokays and hopefully more on the way :D !

I rescued a tokay that had recently lost his tail and was on the cusp of starvation, somebody apparently found him and brought him to the store i was working at. I took him home and had to hand feed him mushed crickets :( yucky!!! He soon perked up and with his next shed he was able to get a grip on the glass again. When he first came in I hadnt had much experience with tokays and didnt know how to handle them, hehe i learned really fast how to pick him up and avoid getting bitten. They are really great reptiles! I had to rehome him because my stepdad wasnt a fan (even though my step bro had a leopard gecko) and he currently lives with halodart (keith). After rehabilitating him he would sit on my shoulder for hours while i studied and did homework, he would literally crawl onto my hand. Not tokay character but amazing anyways. Congrats on the babies!!! They are gorgeous!
